Tiger Class - Years 4 & 5
Tiger Class - Mrs Mack
Tiger Class
Welcome to our class webpage. Here you will find some useful information and links about what we have been up to. Tiger Class is a mixed Year 4/5 Class. Tiger class teacher is Mrs Mack, supported by Mrs Sabik and Mrs Ilyas. Mrs Sabik and Miss Culican will be taking the class whilst Mrs Mack is on her Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
PE kits should be in school all week as they may be used to support learning in all subject areas eg for a lesson on forces in Science.
Children in Year 5 will be attending swimming in the Autumn and Spring Term.
Each reading group has been given an individual day to change their book on. Homework will be handed out weekly which will include Maths, English and weekly spellings.Every half term family learning projects will be set.
Thanks Mrs Mack
Class Dojo
At Great Harwood Primary School we love using Class Dojo. It is a behaviour management tool that connects teachers, parents and children and allows us to share their learning and classroom experiences. Each child has a profile with their own avatar which is a monster. The children who gain enough points during the week will be allowed to complete a variety of exciting activites on a Friday afternoon!Which activity will you choose?
Come and see what we are looking at in Tiger Class this year.
My Maths
Great Harwood Primary School has signed up to the my maths website. The children have their own logins and passwords (see me if you need these.) Make the most of the website and practise your targets or remind yourself of things we did in class.
Purple Mash
At Great Harwood Primary School we have signed up for a fantastic programme called Purple Mash. This programme allows children to use ICT across the curriculum to support their learning. The children have their own logins and will be set tasks for homework. Keep your eyes on the noticeboards too as your child's work maybe displayed!
