Dear parents, pupils and readers,

Welcome to our school website. 

I am extremely proud of our school and how dedicated all our staff are. We believe in every child that comes to our school and we're committed to providing them with the best opportunities and experiences throughout their time at our school.

Great Harwood Primary School is a happy and thriving place to be, where children and adults work and flourish together in a caring atmosphere, underpinned by enthusiasm, encouragement and high expectations. We want your child to discover their talents and interests whilst they grow in a caring and harmonious school community. We celebrate children's successes and invest in developing the confidence and character of every child.

Children say that adults at our school really care and really listen to them.

We believe that a partnership between parents and school is very important. We always listen the parents in our school and work together to ensure you know how to help your child at home. Parenting is not always easy and we're here for you when you need help with our family liaison worker every day of the week. Parents tell us that Great Harwood is a great school with great teachers...it's a warm and friendly environment for pupils and parents. They say that teachers are always available and ready to help and listen.
